Meet Joey Vielma

Joey Vielma is an Area Manager at Carroll Management with over a decade of experience in property management. He holds a Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) credential with NAAEI and has his Texas Real Estate License with TREC under the broker, Keller Williams Allen.

He began his career as a leasing consultant and worked his way up to assistant manager, floater, resident financial specialist, property manager and now area manager. Throughout his career, he’s been awarded Top Leasing Consultant, CF’s Humanitarian of the Year in 2016, Carroll’s Property Manager of the Year in 2019 & 2020, and in 2020 he won the prestigious AAGD Property Manager of The Year Sapphire Award. In 2021, he received the Carroll Cares Award for the Texas Region and went on to receive the coveted Circle of Excellence Carroll Cares Award.

In 2011, Joey was selected to represent the SW Region on Equity Residential’s Diversity Council. He currently serves on CARROLL’s DE&I Council since 2021 and is the 2022 Outreach Chair. He is very active with the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas and serves as a director at large on AAGD’s NextGen Committee. Recently, he was selected to be a candidate for the 2022 AAGD’s Leadership Lyceum Program.

Joey has served as a mentor to many team members throughout his career. He looks forward to learning and sharing knowledge as he continues to grow into the best possible leader he can be.
